After blowing us away with the trailer of the film, Team Veere Di Wedding has now released film’s first song – Tareefan. Sung by Badshah, the song features leading girls Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania lip-synching to his voice. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Veere Di Wedding stars the four actresses portraying the role reversal and breaking the regular stereotypes of the society towards women.
Tareefan has been composed and penned by Qaran and choreographed by Farah Khan. In the song, Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania are seen in their bomb avatars looking all things sizzling. They are seen dancing around male models to even paying their bills and driving them around the clubs.

Talking about the song, Badshah told a daily, “It is a fun song. I have sung it too. This is my second collaboration with Rhea and it is always great working with her,”
Excited about the song and choreographing it, Farah Khan earlier spoke, “This is the second music video that I have conceptualised after Bluffmaster’s Ek Main Aur Ek Tu Hai. We’ve taken this song to the next level. The concept of a gender swap really appealed to me, so we made the boys the decorative pieces in the song, with the girls being the heroes. It was fun working with some truly empowered and enlightened women like Rhea (Kapoor), Ekta (Kapoor), Kareena, Sonam, Swara and Shikha.”
