Fashion Designer Rohit Bal is reportedly on life support at Medanta Hospital in Delhi NCR (Gurugram). He's under intensive care and has been placed on a ventilator due to a pre-existing cardiac ailment.

As per multiple reports, Rohit Bal was swiftly taken to the hospital by model Suraj Dhalia three days ago when he lost consciousness and his heart condition became critical. His pacemaker administered seven shocks before he was first taken to Moolchand Hospital. As his health worsened, he was immediately transferred to Medanta.

This isn't the first health ordeal for the 62-year-old designer. He had previously survived a major heart attack in 2010 and has been grappling with aggravated pancreatitis in recent years, necessitating frequent hospital visits.

Reports indicate that Bal has struggled with alcohol abuse, leading to deteriorating health and multiple rehab stints. Last year in November, he was in a critical condition at Medanta, where he received a visit from his longtime friend Arjun Rampal.

In February 2010, Rohit Bal underwent an emergency angioplasty after suffering a heart attack.
